University Challenge Cup Jan 4-7, 2007 Carleton University is hosting the 8th annual University Challenge Cup. Eight university teams from across Canada will be competing in 29 games during the 4 day tournament running from January 4th to 7th, 2007. This is a wonderful opportunity to watch some very exciting and competitive ringette. All are invited! Event passes (unlimited access) are being sold for 8$ each and single games are 2$ at the door. Players wear their ringette team jerseys and get in for free! Click here for schedules. This year we are offering warm up jackets & pants, hoodies, sweatpants, fleece vests and ballcaps.
Youth and adult sizes are available. Samples will be available at the following times & locations:

No previous ringette experience is needed.
Full ringette equipment required.
Games approximately once a week.
Every second Monday in Metcalfe at 9:00pm,
and Saturday or Sunday nights at Brewer or Blackburn at 8:00 or 9:00 pm.
Cost is $225.00 - $250.00 depending on number of players.
Part-timers $35.00 deposit for insurance plus $10 a game.

NRL Game in Metcalfe January 14, 2006
Mark your calendars and plan to be at the Metcalfe Arena at 5:00pm
on January 14th for the fastest game on ice! MDRA will be hosting a National Ringette League
game between the Gloucester Devils and the Ottawa Ice. More details will be provided later.

Metcalfe Ladies Recreational Ringette (MLRR)
Falcons team is looking for new players. They play every second Monday night in Metcalfe at 9:00pm starting Thanksgiving Monday. Cost is Approx $200 to $250 for the season depending on the final number of full time players. Away games are on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
