Jacqueline
Tregwin - Mezzo-soprano
Jacqueline Tregwin has been recognized as having a beautiful voice and compelling stage presence. She graduated
in 2012 with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from University of Ottawa. Previously, as a member
of l’Ensemble vocal senior De La Salle, Miss Tregwin toured and performed in France and Japan, and won first place
at the CBC National Radio Competition in the Female Youth Choirs category. In 2007, Miss Tregwin was invited to
perform with the Opera Lyra Ottawa Chorus for the premiere event Opera Under the Stars presented by the NCC.

Throughout the years, she has performed as a choral member in a variety of concerts offered by
the Choeur Classique de l’Outaouais. While completing her undergraduate degree at University of Ottawa, Miss Tregwin
was a member of the Calixa-Lavallée Choir for two years and performed with the ensemble in two University
Voices concerts presented by Soundstreams Canada in Toronto. Miss Tregwin also performed solo roles in the University
of Ottawa Opera Company’s productions of Le Nozze di Figaro and Die Zauberflöte.
This past summer, she returned as a member of the Opera Lyra Ottawa Chorus for the cinema-concert
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring presented by the National Arts Centre Orchestra. Miss Tregwin
has studied with mezzo-sopranos Renée Lapointe and Sandra Graham. She is currently obtaining her Masters
in Music at University of Ottawa, studying vocal performance under the tutelage of bass-baritone Ingemar Korjus.
Miss Tregwin aspires to pursue a career as a classical soloist performing worldwide, as well as a music pedagogue.
