it survive?

(Monday, July 29, 2013) Workmen are seen installing the signs
for the new Dunn's "Resto-Bar-Deli" which will occupy the former Chez Georges Restaurant, which operated
on Laurier Street for several decades. While the well-known franchise is a welcome addition to the food fare in
Rockland, some business people wonder if the population will support another eatery. Let's hope so.

New businesses coming to Rockland
(Rockland, 2012) We have heard a strong rumour from a reliable source that Harvey's Hamburger is coming
to Rockland. It would be joining several other new businesses that have chosen Rockland as a destination, adding
strength to the story opposite. They include: St-Hubert Express, Pop Shoes, Gabriel's Pizza, Wine Bottega, Chez
l'Boulanger Bakery, Sienna Gallery, Rosalynn's Bistro and Catering and Joël's Café.

Rockland's newest business
Wine Bottega
is now open. After a succesful run at their Orleans location (Tenth Line and Innes,
near Farm Boy), owner Al Percival has decided to open another store in the bourgening Rockland area. "We see
a great opportunity for us here," says Percival. "There is no other 'brew your own' operation here, and
many of our Orleans customers come from this community. Now they will not have far to go and we hope to grow our
client base as Rockland grows."
